CIO Canada Presents Insights from the 4th Annual TELUS-Rotman Study on Canadian IT Security

How complex is your IT security environment?  Is complexity an indirect cause of inefficiencies, breaches and lost dollars, or dissatisfaction amongst employees? Have you considered this possibility?

This theme is just one of many new issues examined in the 2011 TELUS-Rotman Study on Canadian IT Security.  In its fourth year, the study analyzed insights from over 600 Canadian IT security professionals.  For the first time, this report assesses the extent to which people, processes and technologies are viewed as strengths or weaknesses within an organization’s IT security environment, and how these responses relate to the risk posture, breaches, satisfaction, among other dimensions.

Join IT World Canada Editor-in-Chief Shane Schick and his guests Rafael Etges, Research Director, TELUS Security Solutions and Peter Macaulay, Head Corporate Security, Government of Ontario as they discuss themes including IT security complexity, managing mobile devise use in the workplace, as well as breaches in the age of global hacks.  Listen to the results as they help you understand how to best manage these issues in your own environment.

Walk away with recommendations on best practices based on current Canadian research data, and how to implement them in the year ahead
